new here and new to the katana : )

loving the looks of the s2 and and looking to buy a 750 or 1100

still not sure weather to go down the hybrid route yet.

Welcome - hopefully you'll get one and want to join as well ;-)

As an other option, it might be worth looking abroad. I got an Italian 1100 via Switzerland last year and delivered to my door the bike cost me about £3000 for a fairly original bike with original pipes. If you can get it before Brexit it'll be easy! Even after that it isn't so hard.

I checked a German site and this ones looks like quite a good bargain:

GSX1100SZ, 36500km, original 4 into 2, €3300!

That has to be in the region of £5-£6k over here.

If you want to go that route then I can give some advice as done twice before. If you join the club then we have contacts in Germany that can help (with initial contact etc unless your German is OK).
