Just a quick hello

Post by coombehouse » Thu Dec 21, 2017 3:26 pm

Hi
I have been a long time owner of a Katana, in fact there was even a picture of my bike in one of its many guises on the Katana Central site pinched from the PB Katana Frenzy. Makes me feel old.
Anyway I thought it was about time I got on here as I am about to begin yet another rebuild.

It was version 2 at that time, charcoal grey, monoshock with Martin rear wheel, 16inch front wheel (scary), 1135 big bore, 1000 kat carbs. I guess it was quite radical back then.
Think I am on about version 8 now.

Yes that the one. Looks a little odd doesn't it, like it's on stilts at the front with that small front wheel but back in the day it was the best I could do.
Currently painted like this with more modern running gear & fuel injection. Engine is currently out for some more work again as it's not the most reliable.
