Hello - again

Post by Topdeck » Mon Jan 10, 2011 10:48 pm

Hello I'm Karl from Worcestershire and I've had a Pop-up streetfighter for years.

Just refound you all. I was a club member a few years ago and went to a couple of events but then sort of lost touch. I tagged along for a bit on the John O'Groats to Lands End run but my bike was yellow then.

It now looks very green

Cheers Fossie.

I'm running an Acewell speedo now so don't need overlays but I'll keep a look out for the other stuff.

AHEM! I notice in the top pic you have some rocking horse s**t bolted firmly to your yokes and in the newer pic its gone. Where might said item be now?
Lovely bike by the way but if i was modifying a pop up the first thing i'd change would be the wheels & forks. Mind you i bet it would feel nicer without all that sprung weight over the front end. I wonder what that whole front fairing and headlight assembly actually weighs. Gotta be at least 5-10kg.

Thanks all.

I've got all the standard bits safely tucked away. I might put it all back on one day.

Outrage: It still handles like a dog on lino - but I kind of like it that way.
