hi everyone my name is chris user name bikerchris i sold my # 22 limited years ago up here in canada and have been looking for another one for a couple years now.i finally found an 85 popup that is close to perfect it has some problems like the headlight of course i am a licensed mechanic so i know a bit about bikes so i built my own controller as per the shcematic on this website but i cant get it to work i am now checking out aftermarket linear actuators and will let everyone know if i come up with anything,my membership is in the works just waiting to hear back from catherine,thx chris

Hello Chris obviously you have been in contact with Ted , the North American / Canadian owners club.
Anyway glad to have you on board . Do you know what is wrong with h/ lamp? Of course your system is different to ours as we can ride with light off , the Canadian model acts differently as the lamp comes on with ignition so our wiring is slightly different , don't know if ignition barrel is different but a part number check will answer that question I suppose.
Let us know how you get on , turn lights here if you need them.

went and saw ted today very well and busy working on all his kats he let me try my actuator and controller on one of his bikes and i found out it is my controller that is bad so still looking,thx
