Tyre pressures

What pressures front & rear have you guys found to work?
I did another essential journey yesterday and I found when “pressing on a bit” that the front felt decidedly vague. Currently using 30 rear and 28 front with Michelin Pilots.

Personally I go with 30 front 36 rear as happy with that sort of pressure .
Bear in mind different makes have different recommendations , check their site for you tyre size.

With my BT45's I go for 32 front 38 rear (roughly!).

Running ContiClassicAttacks.
Using recommended pressures for stock. Nothing but good feeling for these tyres
Downside is there is no fitment for the rear 17” rim in these tyres, so I cannot use them on the 1000 if I go for the standard wheel sizes.

The Swiss 1100 Kat I have came with a Conti something on the back but it's an 80 profile. That slight difference from a 90 does make it a right bugger for me with my not very muscularly arms
to get on the centre stand.
On my to do list, to change it at some point, but there's lots of life in it and plenty of other things to spend money on, so it will probably stay a while.

Just back from a 70 mile blatt round the Cheshire countryside. Started out with 32f 38r the front seemed better but the rear had me out of the seat twice accelerating out of bends (brown trousers job) as I took the digital tyre gauge with me I let them down a bit 30f 36r and the back was better the front seemed the same so I’ll stick with that for now. Got to go and change my knickers now

40 in the front is way too high when warmed up the contact profile will be very small if on standard size ...
No tyre manufacturer recommend higher than 2.5 bar max ..that'll be Bridgestone ...others are 2.3 bar.
The rear should on standard size not exceed 38 psi ( With pillion / load ) for the same reason as above ...but if it works for you ....
