removing snapped studs

Anyone know where I can get snapped studs removed? some have snapped when the old exhaust was removed. the mechanic cant remove them, hes tried heating.

How much is sticking out? Can he weld a nut to it ?

Is there a tool/jig to aid drilling out on a Suzuki Motor akin to this sort of thing (for Harleys).

Its come down to he will not do it. I'll have a word with Armstrongs. Hoping the head doesn't have to come off.

Speaking to Armstrong, they have no problem with removing the studs. They even said I could take either the full engine or the head, head being easier. I can't work out why the other mechanic has problems.

Depending on how much stud is protruding, a stud extractor usually does it for me.(tool station or machine mart)
