400 > 1200 coils?

So the 400 > 1200 project i have the 1200 Bandit coils but the 400 coils fit without any brackets making so can i use the 400 Katana coils on a 1200 motor?
1200 = Primary winding resistance 2.0 > 4.0 ohms, Secondary 30 > 40 k ohms
But i dont know the specification of the 400 coils?
Anyone words of wisdom?

So you are looking good! Sorry I never got back to you about the other stuff - at that time the car started playing up and in the end I had to get another one so a bit of an expense. Now, with memerbership due next month I remembered I got volunterred for the admin side, plus I'm now starting to get to grips with the forum, so am planned in adding the manuals soon, promise!
Looking forward to seeing how you are getting on. Have you thought about doing a thread in the Projects section with images as you go along and document it? Would be a nice resource to have on the site.

No worries mate life always gets in the way
Yes i have thought about posting a thread but i jut need to work out the picture side of things and how to upload, i will have a look.
