The hole keeps getting deeper.....
The hole keeps getting deeper.....
Hi all,
It seems the further i look into the condition of my 750s3 engine, the more of a nightmare it becomes!
Im am now in need of some serious help!
My valves are shot!!!! This explains the terrible compression.
The inlet valves are badly pitted and the exhaust valve heads are bent?!
Would anyone out the please be able to help me out with some valves?? I really want to be able to ride this season....
Many thanks in advance!

Re: The hole keeps getting deeper.....
Would be worth looking for another engine to donate parts if the bottom end is good.
This bloke might be worth a ring as he has 3 engines, one of which is an actual Pop Up engine, but he says he has sold the cam followers out of it..

Re: The hole keeps getting deeper.....
Loads of valves for about £17 and postage from states. But in some cases no much ....search for GS700 ES
same part number as 750 , just piston size different for certain US states.

Ok how about this one:

You might have to buy the complete head and strip and swap about the bits yourself. He says the engine was an R703~~ so should be the same as the Pop Up donkey.
