Carb Fuel Tube Joiner thingy O-Rings

So the 1100 never really got going this year. Still got carb issues but levels are all checked now. I can see that the tubes that join the carbs together (between 1 - 2 and 3 - 4) for the fuel are leaking. Each of these has 2 O-Rings on each end so 8 are needed. These aren't listed by Suzuki though as parts.

Anyone know what size they are, as my Mr Men ruler probably isn't accurate enough and a source for them. I would prefer to get Viton ones. Like the Fuel level tubes I had to get from the States, people in the States are selling kits that include them but they do not give the size (e.g. http://www.cycleorings.com/) but I haven't found anyone doing them in the UK (though once I have sizes I can source I guess from any O-Ring supplier).

They look to be around 6.5mm ID x 10mm OD

Well I bought some Sealey Digital Vernier Callipers and I think they are about 6.6mm ID 10mm OD so a 1.7mm section. As they are used that might be out a bit.

I have found some 6.75mm ID, 1.78mm section (10.31mm OD) FKM (Viton) 75 ShA which are 15p each, up to 50 off. and a minimum purchase of £10, so I'm looking at 72 which could do 6 sets of carbs (8 on link tubes and 4 on the vent tubes).

Anyone else want a set for when they overall their carbs?

Hi Rob

I had a similar problem on the 750, but used a universal set to fix the leaks. Backfires special.

But given the issues that I have with the Speed Trip now, I suspect that it will only be a matter of time before they start to leak again.

So I'd buy a set off you.

For reference the O Rings required for this are ID 6.35mm x 1.78mm Viton and I got mine from Polymax. They are 15p each in quantities of less than 50 and you need 12 of them.

I did get the ID 6.75mm as well but the 6.35mm were a better fit I thought.
