In the past I've used Tesco's own label 10/40 mineral oil with no problems on this bike.
They've now discontinued it and the nearest thing they do to it is 'Castrol GTX 10W-40 Part synthetic for petrol and diesel cars' oil.
Is part synthetic oil like this ok on this bike?
Thanks in advance for any info.

Thanks.
I found 10/40 mineral based oil hard to find. Most places had either synthetic or semi synthetic.
Morrisons supermarket have their own brand semi synthetic 10W/40 @ £12 for 4 litres which I may give a try.
If it starts leaking as callyboy's, will report back as confirmation that Katanas don't like semi-synthetic.
