Had a few bits of tape fall off so not sure on a couple of bits of wire. I have these 4 wires coming from one lead.
Yellow with green stripe goes to Solonoid - got that ok
Green with yellow stripe
Green with white stripe
Black and white.
What do the last three do/go?
I have nothing to plug them into and nothing left to bolt on - i think!!
Pete
PS- Sparkie Steve hasnt seen this right

Green/white is one of the generator wire colours that goes up to the RH handlebar switch on kat loom. I think this may be unused with your set up as you have prob got all three going to reg rec on efe set up? someone else may know better?
Green/yellow - oil light switch
Black and white is a feed for lots of things so not sure what you dont have plugged in or could be an earth
I'm no electrician, but hope that helps

Sparkie said that about the green/white as well. Green and yellow = oil pressure switch

It's a general earth.... It's earthing things around the bike that need earthing.... No one thing but as per the diagram there are a few of them... This is one of a few. Hth

Come here Steve and i will give you a big hug mate. Sorry didn't mean to sound condescending mate. Electrical stuff scares the pants off me and i need to be double/triple sure that everything is plugged in ok. If its a spare earth thats great. Will leave it where it is because there is nothing nearby on the loom or the bike that has a male earth to plug into it as far as i can see.
Your help is appreciated mate.

No problem... But is not essentially a "spare"... It's another point where electrical items get their earth from. Instead of whatever needs an earth is going though one two or three points it's going through a fourth.. Old wiring has resistance in it anyway so the more the merrier.... Bad earths are notorious for causing problems, especially on rebuilds where everything has paint and powdercoat all over it.... take the time to make sure all earths are used and are CLEAN where bolted to the frame.... THIS will save you time when working out all the bits that don't work when you turn the key for the first time...
