Doesn't the genny lead pop out into the starter motor well and then run back to the rear of the engine alongside the starter motor feed and the neutral indicator wire. Tucks into a cable run above the front sprocket

no it doesn't;... thats a drain hole ;) - the benny wires go around the starter motor and out of the same exit as the starter cable ;)

My Kat came in boxes so I just messed with it until it looked correct. Keep on messing ;-)

Mick
what I would say is that: take the genny wires over the top of the engine mounting spacer through the gap, then you know it wont drop down and get mashed by the chain....you could even cable tie it to the spacer to make doubley sure ....Looking really good by the way! Hope to see it finished in the next 2 or 3 years ;-)

I routed the wires over the top of the engine mounting spacer, as Bobster said. It was a case of trying different routes until I was happy. The diagrams in the manuals aren't that clear but they then sit behind the frame tube and will be clear of the chain run

The plan is to get it on the road after H has completed one of his projects ;)

Like Bob said then head towards the battery box, think mine has a tin clip attached to hold the wires in. It then joins up in the rubber boot at the rear of the battery box.

Anyway you'll have a decade or 2 to get it right if your waiting for H to finish one of his

looking good though, where's all the road grim?
