peter james have never asked me for one... they wanted pictures and a list of any non std parts and they were happy to insure... same with all the other bikes of the same era...

7/11 yes... i told the dvla it had a 1074 fitted and gave them a "receipt" for the work done containing the engine number... then told insurers it was an 11
there are a few options that the dvla will accept re proof of engine and that was one of them. no doubt an inspection at some depot will be an option too

doesn't matter tbh... just need a friendly bike shop that will give an invoice or something on letterhead to say they fitted xyz engine in the bike... i already had the motor in my garage that came out of another bike so the motor was already mine and had been for some time...

An agreed valuation from an owners club is acceptable, namly ours and me!
Although I am supposed to onspect it etc.... However the more you get it agreed for the more the premium.. you choice I can supply a current market agreed price if needed , I suspect you deleted pm was on this subject but I was away , back now.
