BEST TYRES FOR 1100

Hi everyone,
What are the best tyres (and sizes) for a standard fit 1100 1982 model?

Very Limited choice available.............I use Bridgestones BT45s but some use Avons and some use Continentals.

Cant find anywhere that does 3.50>19 FRONT OR 4.50>17 REAR which is the recommended size....anyone have a dealer?

Use the 100/90 front and 130/90 rear - moved to metric a while back
- apart from big distances I do that in miles, oh and weight has to be in stones, dpi for graphics / printing - I am the confused generation!

...lol, proves how often I buy tyres for bikes. Ta for that....bit of handholding needed with this Katana malarkey.

I use Bridgestones BT45s as well, heard bad things about the avons splitting so put me off them.

Avons on all mine of that age.... Seem fine to me. They had issues a number of years ago with cracking or something but since I've been using them I've had no problems at all...
