I bought this cable from EvilBay which was supposed to be for the 1100.Although I have high bars on the bike I still cannot get enough adjustment at the clutch arm to gat it at the right angle or there is too much cable left to adjust up at the handlebars(does that make sense?) making an already heavy clutch even worse.Any ideas please folks or reccomendations of decent supply of cables etc.Thanks.

My advise would be, buy a genuine suzuki cable.

If this one is genuine? buy it.

When put the new cable on the arm should be at a right angle to the cable. This make the clutch action less severe.

I think Keith's advice is good...but for what it's worth this is my experience. When putting High bars on mine I knackered the nipple on the inner cable at the gear arm end. Had a local bike shop make up a new cable. Had same issue you describe. What I think I discovered is the overall length isn't the critical bit...it's the relationship in length between the inner and outer cables. After a careful bit of measuring and taking it back to the shop to be re done, all worked well. Someone will correct if I'm wrong and just got lucky. :D
