Oil light could be a faulty connection.

Not sure the oil would slop about that much in the sump even at race speeds. Would it?

Is it still running hot as well still ? I think the 3 might be related. If its running really hot then the oil would thin down? Slipping clutch as well might be oil related if its hot.I dunno, just a guess. What oil you got in it?

oil light could be strainer, but i guess that would have been cleaned out when built?, faulty switch /switch spring?

clutch plates... were they soaked in the oil before installing... 24hrs is best. steels scuffed up or new?, if they're smooooooth that isn't going to help... failing which stiffer springs

Best clutch plates for Suzuki's are oem, there's not many good reports for ebc/other aftermarket plates, was going to suggest dodgy connections or switch, but the race or no race option is your choice, if it was me i would not until i'd checked possible causes out (switch, oil pump, blocked strainer)

IMO its expensive if you kill the engine thru oil related problem, as starvation destroys metal parts like cams + bearings.

But it's your choice

Slipping clutch is annoying when you're racing and asking high revs. Sometimes the clutch drags better when hot. If not, like sparki says, soak your new plates in oil over night and use these.

You could always put a single flat washers underneath each clutch spring to add more pre-load on them. Or just put 3 in (every other spring). This is the cheap fix!
Ive Not heard good things about EBC clutch plates.

Ill second FBJ ...........Did u Check the oil strainer for crud when you had the engine in bits?

That's the point! Do not locate the additional washers just beneath the bolts' heads, they won't do nothing there. So you need washers with a inner diameter as big as the springs'.

Thanks guys, tried washers and didn't work, got hold of dome heavy springs and put three in, hopefully ok, added a bit more oil and will see how it goes.
