Katana 750 / 1000 / 1100 Fairing

What were the original fairings made from? I thought they were plastic, so my fibreglass one is probably a copy. Just wondered.

I saw this replica one on ebay http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... SS:GB:1120 made from injection molded polyurethane which tempted me. Anyone know if they are any good?

I believe very early ones were fibre glass. Then went to plastic

Some very early models had a fibreglass fairing, later they had plastic. I have such a thermoplast fairing as shown in the link for my race project. A very good match, maybe a bit brittle when rough handled, that's my suspicion. We'll see...
