Does the knob stay in the on position by itself ? or will it just spring back which is what mine is doing at the moment?
thanks
Pete

There's a wavy washer that goes under the knob and provides a resistance to it springing back. They usually go missing. I don't think I've got a single one!!! Clothes peg on the sliding bit at the carbs while you put your gloves on then just ride.
You can get the washers still. A large fibre or rubber washer would probably work too if you can find one big enough. B&Q maybe?

Cheers Mal. I had that on my watch list believe it or not. Wasnt sure whether to get it or not tbh. Mine seems to work ok apart from not staying on. Will try a fibre washer underneath it like Chris said.
Cheers

Any thin washer will do just make sure it fits well around the centre of the choke knob and then bend it a bit.
It sits between the panel and knob.

Seems to work ok now. Put a big rubber washer between the knob and the panel and i suppose it offers just enough friction to hold the knob when its on
Thanks for the info
Pete
