ribble technology in bolton will clean it out, and it'll come back sparkling inside.... won't damage paint either. lining any tank with THIS petrol scares me! best get it cleaned out imo

Use reverse electrolosis to remove rust. remove fuel tap and blank off the hole with a metal plate, /bung. Fill tank with washing soda crytals in a solution and then wire up a piece of copper tubing to a battery charger, wire + pos to the tube and imerse tube in the tank thats filled with the electolite, and connect the earth to the tank itself making sure the copper tube doesnt touch the metal of the tank.......I used electricians tape to wrapped around the copper tube. leave to bubble and fiz away...........all crud and rust will stick to the copper tube. once clean wash out with clean water and dry tank with air line or vacuum cleaner, or airing cupboard!
I used this method on my XN85 tank..... it worked for me!
