I think Mal ( Arnica) has fitted an 1100EF motor to a Popup............
Dont think it was straight forward though!

As with all things, anything will fit if you try hard enough............It just depends on how much cutting, welding and modding you want to do!

Yeah, think he had to stretch the frame to get it in.

The GSXR or F engine should go in pretty easy, the rear mounts will probably line up ok, the standard popup engine is very similar to the gsxr in size. you might ? get a bit of trouble with tank to cam cover clearance and clearance to the petrol tap.. Will be muuuch easier than putting an 1100ef engine in ;)

shouldn't be that tough.... pretty much the same size those newer oiled cooled motors...

Thing is, I don't want to stretch the frame to get an 1100 in it, The engine from a GSXR1100 is also a little too high so thats why I want a GSXR750.
Think I'll start looking for a good engine and give it a try :)

oil cooled 750s should be fine tbh.... have a measure first but cannot see it being an issue.

try on oldskoolsuzuki as they all seem to hate the 750 motors and bung 11s in. i'd try to get one complete with starter, alternator, cooler, pipes, ignition etc to save ££

all the small bits add up fast

Try yo get as many parts in one sale is a good tip.
And I will take some measurements first. I think a 750R motor will look good in a popup.
