Cheers mate,

One final question (as I haven't had chance to do any more on this yet)

Are the "idiot bulbs" cap less ones, thinking I may replace all as its such a pain in the ass to replace them, but will be at shop before I get chance to work on it again

i think jimmy (jimmy400) replaced all his with led lamps the other year.

Yes, they are capless one - medium size (T10 if I'm correct) - 3.4W - you need 8 of them if it's for a 750/1000/1100 !

Japan-market bikes from the 90s (250s, 400s and 1100s) use 5x of them for warning lights + 3x 1.7W ones (same size) for the dash illumination.

I've got the T10 LEDs to go in Skruffy Kats clocks, just haven't got to fit them yet :roll:
