Scott,

I went to the local paint and panel people and had it mixed in a rattle can as acrylic. It cost just shy of £15 for a 400ml can, but their paint covers exceedingly well - and i got all 3 calipers and both front discs out of the one can, with a bit to spare. The 13L I got for the side panels and mudguard was from the same place - and even though it was water based, sprayed very well, I couldn't fault it! 200% better than the Holts can of supposed Seville orange i bought last week... that was like water and a million miles from what it should have been colour wise!

Very happy with the results so far - just need to get the front wheel done, and I can get it all put back together.

And their RAL cards were German! 2002 said quite clearly "Blut Orange" which translates to Blood Orange! Maybe the average German would have trouble saying Vermillion.. like they do squirrel! :-)

This is the end result of the RAL2002, much better!

Looking back on the "Seville Orange" that I got, I went back to where I bought it from and had a good rifle through the book. They list 5 different oranges, and those 5 are listed for every manufacturer in existance that carries an orange! I somehow don't think that Peugeot Seville Orange is the same as, say Seddon Atkinson Example Orange. But, it's over and done with now!

I just put the rear together temporarily, and got this -

The eagle eyed among you will probably notice a load of blue paper tissue stuck to it.... I know, ok? :-)
