It all kind of makes sense, today, cars and bikes have lighting systems designed specifically for them. Back in the 80's the designs were done around existing off the shelf items. I bet that the light is generic with alot of stuff from that era. I am a Suzuki man since way back, a mate is a Kawasaki man and I recogn the light might even fit his gpz 1100 banana model as well. Will keep you posted as my bike arrives here on Sunday 30th. it's currently in Belgium after an epic journey in a van from deepest Germany last weekend. a 2 owner 1981 machine with 35000 km on the clock and very clean including original exhausts. Will keep you posted with photos when my membership arrives. Thanks for the advice so far, no doubt I will be tapping you up for some more as the resto procedes.
