Agreed, screw any type of liner. Fill up on Shell V-Power, BP-Ultimate or Firezone 102 octane and you'll be fine (for now).
It's faster to break than to repair.

I'd steer clear of tank liners.
They can cause more problems than they solve and all fail in the end.
Probably best to use a stabiliser.
They contain corrosion inhibitors and additives to prevent or reduce water separation.
i lined the tank on my bsa 15 years ago, it solved the one problem i had, and created no others. its still perfectly good. based on your claim that 'they all fail in the end' how long do you think i have left? im assuming you recommend that all stabilisers work perfectly in all circumstances and cause absolutely no problems at all? have you anything to back up what you claim? the only failures ive had with liners were back in the petseal days when they introduced e5 fuel and it absolutely destroyed the petseal liners in a few weeks. ive been using por15 since probably 2005 and its still my go to product for this, not had a single issue with it.

I am with John on this. I have used Por15 on loads of tanks, and never had a problem. The only problem I had was getting the old petseal out of a tank, so I could use Por15

i had to strip petseal from a couple of tanks, i ended up buying a gallon of acetone (nail polish remover) and using that, swill round and leave then swill again and leave for about a week, turned it into a horrible jelly but got it out.
afer it was clear, i used por15!

Dunno what my Kat tank is lined with but I've had the bike about five years now and so far no problems. Well that's cursed it now

I've used Silkolene Pro FST for years, started using it as I rode the bike all year round and it helped with the carb iceing but I'm not sure how well it will help with the E10 fuel?
I'm hearing lots of people are saying not to leave the high octane fuel in the bike if not run for a week or two?
Any reason why over the now old standard fuel?

Never had any problem with leaving super unleaded fuel in any of my bikes, and that included months of non use thanks to a certain pandemic, just filled the tank to the brim, added some fuel fit fuel stabiliser, ran it for five minutes and walked away, apart from the battery needing a boost the bikes fired up with no problems, maybe those people just want you to use your bike more often :)
