Is the carbs on 400 ssn are compatible with other model?

Basically everything is in the title, I am trying to source some part for my carbs.
and I am wondering if it will be the same on other carbs.

I went to a supplier which is telling me he can't have those parts.

What do you reckon?

what are you after? 400 carbs are similar in many ways to 250 carbs, theyre also essentially the same as the later model 400 impulse carbs,

I am just looking for the rubber gasket on bottom, and the bolt all arround.
Nothing to fancy, I would hqve thought it would be easy to get.

Can't imagine why you can't get the float bowl gasket.

I will add that to my list of usefull number, I will call him tomorow if I can get the local shop to get me this.

About the carbs, on the float there is a couple of rubber ring, do you know if they are standard O ring?
On the problematic carb it is a normal O ring on the float and the float does not seem to seat proprely. which I think could be the problem.

what do you think?

In all honesty an o ring is an o ring except the ones in the carbs need to be fuel restisant, also if the o ring is slightly thicker the float won't seat , so yes it would make difference as the float hieght would be different to the rest allowing in more fuel than metered

For info guys, I get around the fact to ring suzuki Ireland for the price of my parts.
So for the 4*float bowl seal and the 2 o-ring on each float, total is €60 incl VAT.

In NRP, they have 2 kit one at £8 which contain all the seal in the carb except the float valve ring, and for £16 with all the seal include the float valve ring.

So I prefer a lot more the NRP price.

I need to do up a list of thing I need.

I have just made the order to NRP, and got the £80 bill.
Hopefully this and a good clean will sort out my carbs problem.
