It seems that the cam chain is getting a little noisy on my 650 but as far as I can tell the adjustment is automatic, does anyone have any suggestions as to what to do? Maybe a stuck adjuster? Is this a common issue?

A laid up 650 will stick the adjuster.
On cam chain adjuster is a wheel! In centre a 10mm nut that is lock nut for the adjuster blade.
Slacken it off twirl the wheel ....it will only go 3/4 turn , let it spring back and tighten the nut.
Obviously with engine off.
