satin black paint

.....I was told you needed to spray a lacquer on it to protect it or it will just scratch easy. Is there such a thing as satin lacquer ?

Yes,
never looked to see if you can get it off the shelf in spray cans though, but If you have someone locally that mixes paints up then they should be able to do some in a spray can for you.

Or RS paints do it.

its 2 quid a tin!! when it scratches, just spray more on top.
