Old thread I know but didn't want to start another for no reason, so...

I am rebuilding my old seat as it had snapped and was looking at getting it recovered but don't know if I want to go black or stick with the original colours of blue/grey, what do people think and have you any pics to show off your seats?

Stevea has just recovered my 1000 seat but he's had all sorts of problems getting the materials he normally uses. I think he has the blue but can't get the grey anymore. My seat has an alternative material for the rear section. Looks great in the photograph he sent me and hopefully going to pick it up tomorrow.

Yeah, no problem.

Although my build is essentially original, I'm not having original exhaust (Suzuki compromise for the road IMO) so I'm not anal about the seat as long as it looks great and looks like it should be there and I'm pretty confident it will.

The pop up seat is a different material, blue and grey but in Vynl so it shouldn't be a worry.
Also U/P if you look it discount section of Pride Highlander isn't far from you and you could call in on him.

If pop up seat is vinyl then that won't be a problem. The later SD kats had vinyl seats, I think it was only the earlier SZ's that had the alcantara like material.
