Dft following the EU

I see the Department for transport (DFT) is looking at putting modified and tampering to vehicles/motorcycles to be illegal for green reasons on vehicles.

Mmm I'm sure this comes up from time to time, I remember the "TA no way campaign " in the late 80's , but they never have used the 'get out clause ' of climate change before . Lazy politicians pandering to mass producers . W*****s,

Can't see them being able to bring it in on anything than new bike's thow.
Like with the MOT they can only look at the exhaust output (can't spell the other word LOL) on newer bikes, as they can't say what it was from manufacturers.
Always get away with a loud exhaust on that one ;)

In Spain there’s a whole trade around returning a bike standard, do the MOT, then put the non standard parts back on.
MOT stations are all government run and don’t do any mechanic work.

You should see Germany 😂
It's faster to break than to repair.
