Hi everybody, I'm in need of a cheaper alternative to genuine suzuki piston rings if anyone has any recommendations. Oh my crank finally turned up as well from it's holiday in the sodding Bermuda triangle! Must admit not impressed with the service
but never mind it's done now so as soon as I get this pot off my hand I can get started on putting the motor back together.

PaulD has just gone through this process and bought the Cruzin Image ones. See thread:

and another with ring gaps:

He's still in the rebuild process but not far off I think, so you can get a report from him on them. Blix recently bought some fancy gadget to get pistons and rings in the bores easily (I think), he might lend you if you need to.

Yes as UB says I bought some Cruzin Image piston rings because I’m tight and won’t pay Suzuki prices
I’ve checked all the rings in the bores and the end gaps are spot on.
They look indistinguishable from Suzuki rings, I paid £45 for a set of four and at that time Suzuki wanted more than that per cylinder.

Well I'm impressed with the service from Cruzin Image, only took 7 days to get the piston rings from Japan to Yorkshire
. They look very good quality, thanks guy's for the heads up to buy these.
