Got a question.

What kind of paperworks belongs with UK vehicles? Is there some sort of logbook proving ownership? Is it just that DVLA registration certificate?

What would be given with the vehicle being exported?

The V5c is the only apaperwork as such (apart from service history, etc.)

There is part of it to return to DVLA to inform of export and part for the new foreign owner to use as registration

As Stockcar said there should be the V5C which looks like this (front and inside): If the vehicle has been in long term ownership though it could be different, as no requirement to update. The one shown is red on front and first issued from 2010; from 2004 they were blue but some were stolen and hence the change to the red ones (in case of someone using the stolen ones for the wrong reasons!). DVLA do offer a free replacement of the blue to red documents for this reason. Prior to 2004 they were different again.
If someone sells you a bike they have to fill in section 11 (see inside) to say its been exported and give you the rest of the document. It is worth checking the engine and frame numbers from the vehicle match the document.

It is also worth noting that on Ebay and elsewhere here, there are a lot of imported motorbikes (as classic bike prices here have shot up) which have the import papers (NOVA) but no UK registration. I think for you these are best avoided. All very well explained, but yes that is all we have here in UK.
I can see that to a German this is very very sparse, with no additions of things changed , or a de registration certificate.

When Cord won the pop up this is all we could give him with an MOT Certificate ( like your TUV)
He had to get a document from Suzuki Germany with the tyre sizes ,etc on it which you have on your log books.
The section of the V5 declaring export may have been sent to DVLA already , though most people tend not send that off.

Thanks guys. I'm not planning to import a bike.
Reason I asked was: I hat to deal with a car from UK which was confiscated 'cause of serious traffic offence. Could have come to the conclusion that car had to be sold to make sure the driver in charge would pay his penalty.
At the end I was able to give it back to him.

See not an issue to our law enforcement officers over here, if it has foreign plates....say Eastern European, a letter will be to the registered address with a notice to prosecute.....then obviously ignored.!
We don't have on the spot fines.

The fine I was talking about was round 1000 whip lashes. To much to be ignored in die eyes of German prosecuters.
