Nice! You couldn't convince him to ride to Denmark then? Whereabouts does Drew live ?
Went to Whitwell last Friday and it was fairly quiet there for such a nice evening.
Went to Old Buckenham last night and it was heaving!
The Gt Yarmouth Motorcycle Take Over is on the 7th July so I plan on going to that.

Drew is not far from me near Coltishall. He has had his Kat for several years and done a fair bit to it, swapping the wheels to GS spokes, 1mm oversize pistons to take it to 770cc (they were free apparently, well a couple of beers) flowed head among other things. It goes quite well for something fitted with a "Boat Anchor"!
He also has a Slabbie and a GS/GSX mongrel that has my old Kat motor rebuilt to 816cc that he uses for track days and stuff like Glemseck 101.
I have tried to get him to join the club and to head up to Denmark, but he has some European classic stuff that weekend.

Whitwell was busy the last time I went a couple of weeks ago, nothing too fancy there but did meet up with another Kat owner who was out with his missus on their Yam 2 smokes.
Gt Yarmouth is out for me as I’m up in the Lincolnshire Wilds at the moment until the Monday after.
We need to meet up to get a rough plan for EK8, particularly the run back.
Was looking on Google maps and thinking of making Vechta or thereabouts for the Sunday night.
@Pitbull1000. Our bikes are very similar apart from mine still has the smaller Donkey to drag it along, but it is still quick enough to amass a fantastic insect collection
Pop into the “Say Hello” section, introduce yourself and post up a few photos, because we like photos, we do.
