This evening......While in the Black Swan ...a venue some of you know. Smand and I came up with a fitness plan, :D
We are constantly told to walk more ...........so as we walk to the pub anyway , if we visit it more often, we will indeed be fitter, ;) then on the way home if we walk past our house to the pizza shop, collect said pizza then walk back to our house, we are doing good ........right ? 8-)

Tonight was the first attempt at this regime. Hence the posting at this hour!

I would be very careful going down this route. I've seen what happens with fitness fanatics when it totally takes over their lifestyle. You'll get to a point when it's not enough and will need to repeat this fitness regime multiple times a day in order to feel the 'burn'

Decided to join Fossies Fitness Forum but with some minor adjustments. 1. As the pub is only 400 yds from home I will have to go at least twice a day in order to build up the walking distance. 2. Half way home is a traditional English chippy, so to avoid temptation I will stay in the pub until after the chippy closes at 2200hrs. Cunning plan methinks.

well, if going to the pub keeps you fit, then surely the longer you stay in there, the fitter you will get, so, if you got a taxi there and back, you could spend much more time in the pub and thus improve your fitness greatly............

subscribed to your plan in December, Fossie - having bought a pub, I find myself there at least 5 days a week.
Never been fitter :D

Bit extreme Garry! But hey you don't do things by half, do you?
Will you still find time for the finishing of the Kattle ....whatever you're calling it!?
Where would we find this fitness centre?

It's on Whitby's railway station platform and used to be the waiting room.

which is what it is still called.............. :D

Serving a wide, ever-changing choice of 6 craft cask beers, 12 craft ciders, no lager, no gin/vodka/whisky etc, no music, no tv's and no kids. Am I selling it to you yet?

Next door to the Whistlestop tea rooms, a bikers favourite haunt.

Collecting the Kattle / KetKat next week - hoping to have it on the road by May / June ;)
