We REALLY do need to update the site so that we don't need to "dance around stone circles and pray to the God of photobucket" to allow us to post Photos in reply to questions ( or anything else)
I'm "officially " ****** off" with this place now
and if folk don't like that then sort it or block/bar/disown me

Take a pill laddie.... Perhaps tell us what the problem is amongst the toy throwing
Maximum sizes are not that uncommon... OSS was terrible for it too when it properly existed

Huh....? What do you mean exactly, H? I don't use photobucket to uplode pics here:
Is it that you just can't be arsed to resize your pics before you uplode them? It's just one or two clicks more if you got the right program for it.
Uploading only one of nowadays multiMB pic files would big up the costs for hosting the site, as I understand it.
In that context posting just links to photobucket is even better, but I don't like that as well. So I resize my pics.

"Your images may only be up to 800 pixels wide."
Depends what size the image is in Photobucket - is indeed a pain in the arse!!

I simply take the pictures the correct size.........rocket science it isn't, failing that I press the icon on my soooooooo out of date apparently windows Xp that says resize picture and gives me a choice .
At the AGM this was discussed but until we get the codes from coldsnail a chill pill is all that is needed.

and If Fossie finds all this straight forward, with all due respect

. , it really cannot to too hard can it

- pedda is right, it saves a lot of space and is easy to resize. I realise some aren't overly computer savvy but come on lads.... It is nearly 2015 and it's hardly like this internet thing is new eh

Ok. this is the problem I have.....
I like to take lots of picture

I take pictures to remind me how things go back together

Its what i do, so dont start

I like to take detailed pictures which i can zoom in on when i need to see what what and wheres where

I take as high a resolution pic as i can as it means i can zoom in really close to stuff that i dont know where it goes

I'm a idiot!!!!
Now....I like to share my pain on a rebuild with you guys and i understand i gives you pleasure to mock me. I dont care....i can take it as long as you help me as well.
Now here's the deal. My high resolution pics need to be resized each time i want to post on here and sometimes i post 4 or 5 in one go. Its a pain in the arse because i have to download to the computer and then uplaod into photobucket and then rezize and save each one seperatly.
IT IS A PAIN !!!!
If you dont post many pics i suppose its ok. I post a lot
End of rant.......Bends over and waits to be shafted!
Pete
PS- the photobucket link thing is still dependant on the picture not being more than a certain size.
