I noticed when browsing through the members list was that in september there were 21 new names joined the forum/club yet only a small percentage took the time to introduce themselves. Not a problem in itself I guess and each to their own, but out of the percentage that remain anonymous how many extra bikes are now in the fold?

I also noticed that I no longer seem to have the membership number 407....and that's after ordering a screen with my alleged membership number etched on it.
Now when getting insured I also quoted said number when asked. Did my insurers contact any admin to confirm this?

The number down the side is the ID on the forum not the club memebership number. Not all users of the fourm are paying members. Club members have "Club Member" in the rank column. If you click your name (or other club member) the details on that page shows you your Club Membership number.

And back to the insurance.. nobody does check at the moment. But should you actually have to claim your policy would be invalid if you stated you were a member but actually were not.

If you go to 'user control panel' (at the top) profile & edit signature, you can put things that will appear at the end of your posts, like 'i'm the real 407'
