Post by Nicky Dodds » Wed Jul 02, 2014 11:16 pm

So what does everyone use?
Bearing in mind I have one of Bobster's racks and may be carrying a passenger...

i use throw over oxford panniers.

The rack is good for a big bag with tents and sleeping bags etc.

I should know I made it! ;-)

Ha ha I have every faith in your engineering skills as I've had the grand daughter sat on it!
Do the panniers fit ok with a pillion as there don't look to be much room between passengers calfs and rear indicators?

Yeah..........I had the girlie friend on the back of mine at Squires, and Mancee Kat rally, she got her feet on the pegs ok! But she only has small ones! ;-)

But you have to push the panniers back onto the rear indicators.....

I moved my indicators back about 3 - 4 inches on plates, I use the oxford LARGE expanding throw overs, get anything & every thing in them, kitchen sink, kid in each side

Makes traffic bashing fun, but also gives the bike a nice soft landing when I drop it.
