Re Using Katana/gsx head gasket ?

How many times can you re use it ?, new ones are really expensive, I've re used this one once, sprayed it with heatproof paint and it was fine. If I can get the paint off could I do it again ?, It looks ok and the gasket has done no more than 600 miles and less than a year old.
I have a GSX1100 head gasket but it has O rings embedded in to it and cut outs in the cam chain tunnel area, dimensions are the same but why's it so different, any idea's ?
