How many miles do you get from a tank of fuel? (on an 1100)
Unless I messed up resetting the trip on the new bike, I'm showing 105 miles before reserve, which doesn't look too good to me (unless the reserve holds enough to do over half that again!!)
So what do you get before reserve and how many on reserve itself?
(thought I'd ask before I make a tw*t of myself and run out of fuel (again

)

I get anywhere from 118-150 before hitting reserve on my Kat 1000....So I think you may be using a bit more than would be normally expected..........unless you ride you bike like you've just stolen it!

Unless it has a smaller fuel tank from a very late GSX1100SY bike ( with the motor assisted cluch fitted)

I like to fill up every 120, but did do 150 when it went onto reserve in Germany, better now I have a bigger front sprocket. ( I worked out once doing 1/4 miles it was doing about 9mpg

) but then I run less cc than you lot.

I'll have to see what happens next time ... it's got K&N filters, Harris exhaust and it's been re-jetted to suit and seems to run fine (although it doesn't like sitting at low speeds for any length of time ... honestly officer!!).
I'll try strapping a petrol can on the carrier and go for a give it all ride over the weekend and see what I get!

Same setup as mine but mines an 820 not 1100, still running 1100 carbs. What main jets have you got?
