Had to renew the insurance today...you wouldn't believe how difficult it was to get anyone to understand that it's not a GS1000G, as DVLA have it listed as, but a GSX1000sz.
Two companies even told me that model doesn't exist!!
My log book gives the right model, so why can't the DVLA database get it right?

Welcome to the future!
If the American Idiot software doesn’t like you, well, you’re B’luxed
Back in the dim and distant past I used to go to a local insurance broker. If he was busy you sat in the office either reading a real newspaper or joined in the conversation with the customer in front of you

Re: Computer says "no"
If the V5 gives it correct then it's not DVLA issue but an insurance data base .... I issued my Taliban bus at the weekend , but my registration number doesn't appear on their data base so had to fill in manually on some sites ...
Re: Computer says "no"
Fossie, if your vehicle appears on the insurance database as ''Taliban bus'' you might be getting a knock on the door soon
