any ideas on a similar colour to 13L?

i can go to a paint place and they'll scan a good panel, match the paint, sell it to me for double what a can should cost and all would be well.... OR is there an equivalent colour in Halfords I can use to paint a front mudguard for half the price...

I don't want halfords to mix anything but the one down the road has a half decent selection of pre-mixed coloured paints that I was hoping would be close enough I couldn't tell the difference...

anyone know for sure? not really after hearsay as I may as well spend the extra in that case for peace of mind.

Apparently the Chrysler PT Cruiser silver is the same colour even the same colour name .
This is what Heinz uses for his original paintwork Kat.

Fossie....that 550 sidepanel I got off you year before last. I painted its oppo in Nissan starburst silver and it's a perfect match.

I used an Audi silver on the choke knob of the 400. It is slightly different to the side panel, but then that has had 25 years in the light (see image). I'll have to get in the garage to see which one tomorrow, if you like.
