Glad you're still about and surgeon says all went well - still got 2 or 3 months until the really good weather so concentrate on getting fully fit.

well still here after getting thru the op, then 2 weeks later big high sider as health deteriorated rapidly, thought's were op had failed so into Hospital i went again, and ferkinell get told picked up a serious Lung infection, quick high dose anti bio-tics and wahoo i improved, then last week sad news as good friend passed away (more severe heart prob's than me) as his lung transplant was rejected (R.I.P. Doug).

Yesterday quick NHS visit to see my specialist and he tells me i'm over illness and fit and well for now, he was completely honest and also told me the illness will return just nobody knows when, so guess we enjoy what we have and make the most off it when i can.

Good to still have you around and well. You are quite right, no point on dwelling on the if's and when's

Well that lasted long  Wednesday approx at 1 o clock ended up in hospital again, had been feeling crap all morning but like me (pig headed) carried on working until fit to drop, and the best part was taken to local doctors and discovered both shut 12 - 14.00 for training purposes, and because of past history we got told go straight to hospital.

The ferker up there keeps trying to take me but i'm not ready to go yet ;) , not finished what i need to complete so he'll have to wait longer :D

Funny part was just after we had booked into A&E felt i needed fresh air, and soon as i walked out 1 off the new helicopters came with a big bodyguard sitting in it, and guess who was co-pilot :?: yes it was prince willy, then i went back into the waiting area and told wifey, then several of the nurses had heard and slowly groups of them went outside just to see him, i guess its a novelty for them to at the minute

Anyway i'm out again and been told got to take things easy again and Slow down (pssttt as if that'll happen) and Rob maybe you, jim and me better go to whitwell + reepham station soon ;)

Oh - I'm late on this topic. Just back from vacation I am.

Good to hear you made it all well and walked away from the op-table. Next time you're up to a surgery just keep in mind:

The moment you see a bright light aproaching - just don't walk in...
