when I was a small child I used to go to school the day after i'd built an airfix model messerschmitt with tiny swastikas on my fingernails, got some funny looks from the teachers

For some reason, I only built British and American planes. That Flying Fortress was a bloody nightmare with all those moving turrets.

I don't get the stretch thing.....but the fairing flows well in the lines ...I saw a Bandit with a pop up Kat fairing on once ....fitted well ...... So if you fit a Bandit engine to a Kat it's a Kat but if you fit Kat bodywork to a Bandit it ain't ?

As for model planes ...for those of us who hung them from the ceiling , may I suggest you visit RAF Cosford when it opens again , it's free and the have full planes hanging from the ceilings and walls , and I mean full planes ...Lightnings , Hunters , Vulcans....

I've never been into planes, I don't even like flying. Except in Grand Theft Auto V, then it's fun to shoot crap from the friendly skys of Los Santos (city in that game).
