Looking at the speedo it has the official heron overlay....
Looks honest enough ...struggling to see £5 grand though!
Possibly a uk model....

Looks like very good condition Popups have just shot up in value, as this one has now gone (was £4.5k) and with the one the other week going for £5k, they aren't too far behind the 1100's really.

Re: Possibly a uk model....
I'm afraid it was me....
Even with a small reduction and UK delivery included, it was still over the odds.
Should really have put my previous one in storage when I moved abroad, rather than selling it.
Been pining ever since.
The speedo overlay was one of the factors that made me choose this one.
My previous 2 popups were 'official' ones too.
Also has new tyres, a full service and the carbs ultrasonically cleaned... so a few hundred I don't have to spend.
Yes, I am trying to justify the over-inflated price tag
But now it'll be at a friend's for a couple of months until I can get over to UK to retrieve it.

Re: Possibly a uk model....
Glad to see you are still about Sam and once again, Katana riding!
It did look good condition - was that a C reg or D one? I had a D reg official one, I'll have to dig out the reg number it ended in PV (Ipswich). I think the prices for the popup are obviously on the up if in good condition!

God knows where they got the 20 figure from.
I'm currently in Mallorca until the end of October... and then it'll probably be Italy over the winter.
I'll be keeping an eye on the EuroKat info...
