Ouch! 400 Kat Yoshi Cam Covers
Now I do love my 400, but you'd have to really love your 400 to spend this kinda money on 4 Cam Covers...

I'm surprised they have marketed them just as GSX400 Katana as they must fit the range of bikes that used the same covers, including the 1100.
The main thing I can remember about magnesium is that it burns very brightly - I can remember put those old metal pencil sharpeners that were magnesium in the fire when i was younger. Possibly something you won't be trying with those.

You are a cruel man Blix, posting the part number! As hard as I tried I had to Google it and found a set in the UK for £211. That is in the I really really shouldn't but I might accidentally click the Buy button, price range
I can I have suggestions on how I could get them to word "Yoshimura Magnesium Cylinder Head Side Cover Set" on the invoice, in a way that it sounds more IT related, as then I could put through the business and save VAT - end of tax year next week, it's either that or the Tax Man gets it!

I do use the bike in the good weather to get to clients (when I need to visit rather than remote work), so the weight saving would:
a) help me get there quicker
b) use less fuel so the company is greener and eco friendly
I'll see if I can sell that to the accountant

Are we really contemplating the price of a 550 Kat for a few bits of metal that Suzuki produced for pence that weighed less than a couple of quid.... Obviously the saved wieght saved will save £ in fuel and in a century it will have paid for itself.
Or just paint your old ones in a Matt primer with some fine sand sprinkled in for the same effect.
