Interesting to see what the japs do

£3000 unregistered is a bit of a punt :D

I'm sure the address was a haulage yard when I was at Dodds transport. :!:

I’m about to leave a deposit on that one.

Is it honestly over priced ?

Many thanks for the reply.

As for non stock - I get that the carbs aren’t stock but anything else ?

Back in the day I used to ride gs’s and my mate Alan had the katana and I was always jealous - this is my chance to own one and keep it as a collectible.

This also seems to be the cheapest one I have seen in decent nick so was going to take a punt.

Any advice greatfuly received

Ok sounds good. The bike is still in Japan and no other details about it other than the ones on the sale page.

It’s sold as seen so feeling a little nervous in case it turns out to be a basket case. Unlikely I know but there is always the possibility

Hang on just noticed a very small detail left out of the ad - it’s a non runner.

That could be for any number of reasons.

But I’m suitably put off.

Agree ?

worth looking at, thats a 1000 pound set of carbs fitted to that bike, hard to imagine they were fitted in isolation with no other mods. i think 3k is at the limit of what an unregistered kat pop up will be worth at the moment, but, its only got 18 thousand miles on it and judging by the ngeneral condition and footpegs etc, that appears genuine. i think a weekend spent cleaning and polishing that will bring it up nice, and a set of stock carbs wont be too hard to source, unless you want to spend time setting up the fcr's.
even though its a pop up, and im generally not a big fan, thats a nice looking bike, its even got the right indicators on it front and back,
