Re: Yes please....
That was from David Silver's in Leiston Suffolk, from a Japan import batch of bikes he got in 2021. I posted about it then:
viewtopic.php?f=40&t=8792&p=63727&hilit=RG50#p63727
It's actually a 1986 (according to Silvers advert).
Interestingly although it's been tidied up a little it still isn't registered and £100 cheaper now than when Silvers had it!
As an '86 it'll need an MOT - so makes me wonder if it's still not registered then there's an issue with getting that? Honestly for a bike shop getting it registered should be easy...
I do like, it was tempting when it was close to me at Silvers, but too many projects in the garage...

Re: Yes please....
To be honest I thought after 83 because of water gauge where the fuel gauge would be on
ES type clocks , so 86 is closer ..
I suspect a lack of jap log book would mean a dating letter which is going to b very difficult as the problem registering .. Or lack of Nova but that would have been done with the whole batch.
( though UB original post does state Nova ..)
Be interesting to know the reasons for not being reg'd. If simply enough it could be a project.

Re: Yes please....
A bit of research and it seems that this is indeed rare, RG 50 came with a bikini fairing or naked ..the 250 Kat fairing fitted on the fairing frame to it size wise . So done customly ...nice though.
