This one will be interesting to watch, for a more realistic guide to where prices are.

It does belong to a club member who recently wanted to get back into Katana's and joined, so looks like we'll lose a member
( If you read this Peter sorry to hear about the knee - how about a 400? Love mine and lighter and easier to manage, plus most don't realise it's a 400 at first thinking it's the 1100!).

Or a 650.... Comfy as a comfy thing on a comfy day out! ( Baldrick circa 1995)

650 are incredibly comfy and carry their weight very well, they certainly feel a lot lighter than the 1100 and their values are still pretty low.

It is mine. I’ll be sad to see her go. It was an amazing nostalgia trip but I guess I have to let my knee rule my heart on this occasion. It’d be great if it went to a Club member.

Whoever buys it, remember to tell them about us, we might just pickup a new member againPeteN wrote:It is mine. I’ll be sad to see her go. It was an amazing nostalgia trip but I guess I have to let my knee rule my heart on this occasion. It’d be great if it went to a Club member.
Sorry about the knee. I had a similar issue to a lesser extent so swapped my more modern bike (at the time!) from a SV650 to a VStrom which was better. A few years back I went on the 1100 to Belgium (from Norwich) and my knee was a worry to me at the time but strangely the 1100 Katana never caused me grief so long as its not hurting already and the 400 I find even more comfortable - went to Denmark on it last year and it was fine including a 400 mile day.
Check in from time to time!
