Re: Get yer pics oot for the lads!
Well, as I am German I can asure you that Hein Gericke is nothin but the company founder's name. Hein is a common christian name in northern Germany. I still use my leather jacket I bought in 1987 nearly every day I take a bike out. Not too bad quality to say the least. I had to get some new zippers once. Oh, and a little relocation of the front zipper on that occasion, tbh.

Bikeazoid matey ..A Wiener schnitzel is in fact an Austrian pork escolope ( a thin slice) in a breadcrumb coating ...a Geman hotdog is a Bockwurst ...so shock horror the Americans have language issues
While we are at it I worked at Hein Gericke here in the UK , though it has ceased trading here now, the kit is /was good quality and lasts for years ....back in 2001 I went to New York to visit Frank the Manc Yank and found a motorcycle apparel retailer on Manhatten. With obvious interest we checked out the stock ....Hein Gericke jackets and boots and Shoei helmets that were new with new dates in them that were at least 10 years old in style and models .....

Re: Get yer pics oot for the lads!
Same problem for me. My body seems stable at 11 stones (70kg?), but at my small height 10 stone would be better, or even 9 1/2.

Re: Get yer pics oot for the lads!
Few more pics.
This is a Speer Kat I bought about 1990 and rode for one season. 3.5 k Deutsch Marks are still the peak of what I ever gave for a motorbike. Ugly but fast it was. That fairing made the difference on both items.
One year later I customized it a bit:
Single sided swingarm and things. Rode that thing for about 20 years, never stopped modifying it further on. IIrc I had a few more pics of it in various states of modification in the gallery section of the forum, but the link seems dead. Anybody in charge know about the gallery?

To be precise, I still ride that bike, but you cannot tell by the pics above. Latest state of affairs to be found in my project thread, linked in my subscription.
