GSX250S Katana Turbo!
Found this while idly looking round the net - it's in Japan for sale for £5.5k (plus taxes and shipping!). Can you imagine that at 15K rpm?

Re: GSX250S Katana Turbo!
looks to me like a great way to spend the price of an 1100 to make a 250 produce the same horsepower as a 650 in order to be faster than a 400......
Re: GSX250S Katana Turbo!
Looks like a plumbers nightmare! looked on the company website WWW.MetalSpeed.co.jp there seems to be no power or speed figures, the turbo is tiny so it doesn't look like it will even get near to the 53bhp that the 400 Katana produces.

Probably as long as a Combat spec Norton Commando, but with the higher revs the bits will go furtherPaulD wrote:I wonder how long that would last before it went bang?

Re: GSX250S Katana Turbo!
but at no stage does anyone think, 'erm, ok, soooooo, more power but still a single front disk........'
Re: GSX250S Katana Turbo!
John, if you've ridden a 250 Kat you'll realise that the single disc is more than up to the job, single finger braking is the norm and the twin disc setup on my 1989 Kawasaki Kr-1 isn't half as good, this bike seems to have a bigger caliper fitted for some reason, problem is i'm having my Kat brakes bled next week, oh dear!
