ace cafe kat
took this picture about three years ago at Kawasaki day at the ace café, i think its the perfect incarnation of the katana, larger three spoke wheels with thicker rubber, ohlins shocks and it might have a gsx 1400 engine in there, only minus point are the clocks, digital looks great but you can't get better than the contra-rotating originals, anyone on here knows who owns it? p.s after studying the frame of the bike in the picture it's probably a gsx 1400 with katana bodywork on it

Re: ace cafe kat
Yeah its just a common old GSX1400 with USD forks ( I also have a GSX1400 in my stable ) and kat bodywork fitted. Think the owner of it used to come on here, i think he even may have trailered it all the way to Switzerland for a Eurokat rally, but I may be wrong on that
So not really a Kat.......just pretending to be a Kat

Re: ace cafe kat
doesnt look like a 14 to me.... other blokes 1400 didn't have usd's on it... pretty much was a stock 14 with kat bodywork. side stand on this and frame looks 11 imo

Re: ace cafe kat
This isn't Sebs effort. This actually a Kat with a 1400 engine in it. It was a 750 once I believe, it was in a magazine a few months ago I think.
The reg number is to old for a 1400.

Re: ace cafe kat
The rear peg subbies look a bit like cut and re-welded the wrong way round...
Other than that, I like.
